Hello, all welcome to photoshop tutorial. In this tutorial, you will get best photoshop tips. You will also se how to deal with various kinds of eraser tools in this video. In this video, magic erasers and transparent GIFs are introduced.

<embedsrc="http://www.youtube.com/v/kuXd1JTKr4c&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385">

Welcome back, ahmm tonight’s tutorial is a photoshop tutorial, and what I am gonna do is going over few things, one of this is dealing with different types of eraser tool and other thing is saving things as a transparent GIF. For example, if you are put it on a webpage, if I was to take this duck and then save it for the web here, come on, on my desktop and I just call it ducky and I want to stick it on my webpage out here. I can insert the pictures from file ducky; you see it has that real white backgrounds.

All right, so one of the cool functions of photoshop is this tool if you hold down the eraser and pull out to the background eraser. You can see I have really very large brush; I can use my right and left brackets to make it larger or smaller. And I can just click somewhere in the white, I don’t want to click on yellow. If I click on white you will see how I can actually take the background out. Okay and I am gonna keep going around, okay and hopefully that will get along. And now, if I go and file, save for web now, the last time okay now see I was trying to save it as a JPEG. Alright, basically it’s mixture okay image mode. Okay I am gonna do a file save for web and instead of JPEG I am gonna choose GIF. You see I am back to the checkers, the checkers means it’s transparent. So, I am gonna go ahead and do save and I am gonna call this ducky duck GIF. Now GIF’s can be transparent and JPEG’s cannot.

So, I am gonna back over here to my document and next to this I am gonna click, actually I will delete this one so you can see it better. Then you click insert picture from file and I am gonna do ducky duck GIF, now they look the same here okay. So, you can see that I have my ducky, I can resize my ducky.

But you still see there some little bits of I guess jacket edges. Now there are some things that you can do about that, one is to you know to stroke around it, you know there are other things that you can try. But overall that’s how you get the background erased and a transparent GIF. Now another one, this one you see if I was to actually paint on this, you see how this is the different shade of white and this is really kind of a peach kind of white. But if I was to go and erase this I would first want to go adjustments levels and bring my white up.

Okay, that way we have got a little bit better stuff to work here and I go in again erase my background. And work with it that way, alright now it’s have it set right now you can see where it take you us. But, but that means is if there is a eraser I can hear or some where else there not touching, they won’t be touched.

All right, so anyway, that’s another example and it can be useful for things like this logo. Now you see here that’s saying that’s its index, some graphics that you are gonna work with are gonna be index files. So, you have to make sure you go from image mode index to image mode RGB color and then when you go into lead okay. Now you see there really chopped out that grey, well I need to drop my column down because it is pretty sharpely defined white and orange and grey. So, I can do this and I am gonna do file, save for web and going to save K-12HSM. Okay now we are back to my little program over here and insert picture from file K-12HSM .Now obviously this needs some work, now sometimes you get away, we are going back to photoshop and doing some things like layer, layer style, drop shadow.

But sometimes the drop shadows and the strokes and things like that actually make the things little bit worse. Amm because that has got the jacket edges around, you can experiment and there is lots of tutorials on the web for proving it, I am just trying to give the basics here. This is the another one that, I think is good and that is being able to take pictures like frames and you know put around the picture into it. All right the other type of eraser that we have is the magic eraser what that does is again we have index here so we can put that to RGB color. And i can just click here and take out all of the white that is touching and here I can do same thing and again so you know its may not as smooth as you’ll want but there are times when you might just want to erase the whole big section like this. All right, and this case it may actually be looking better then we did with our magic eraser. If I was to do save for web, ya it actually got a quiet a big. So I am gonna save this and I am gonna do good face GIF, go back to my page here, insert picture from file good face GIF. Okay so it has a little bit of work that it needs.

Okay so that’s the basics of doing ammm transparent GIF’s and using different eraser tools. And I hope this helps and let me know if it does or if you want me to go into depth on some of these. Ahmm thanks for watching.

In this video, we have introduced Reef tank photography. You will get best photoshop tips in this video. You can get highlight details of photo using photoshop. In order to get the highlight details, you need to follow certain steps that are explained in this video.

<embedsrc="http://www.youtube.com/v/sbac1F6NzgU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385">

All right, with that first video out of the way I am going to work through another photo. They will require about same sort of adjustments, but a little bit more quickly. So, go and begin by opening it in camera. Just go in to and click open image, not making any adjustments here. And, now open the photoshop. This photo actually has some highlight details that I want to make sure I don’t loose. So, what I am going do is use the highlights, shadows highlight command. Not into so much to shadows. I do want to hold on some of those highlights little bit. I think that looks little bit more flat. That’s okay I will bring in little contrast later.

In this one, I am going to make two adjustment layers and one curves layer to correct the terms this one is moving up my black point to get two black shadows. Okay too far that looks good and second one to get rid of this blue cast. Here we go that looks better that way. Actually, I am going to come back to my first layer there, bring up those highlights touch. And there you can see with just couple of adjustment this looks a lot better. And where we started it’s right there. So, back to where were, now next thing I am going to do is create just like I did it in first video.

Now do that by using the a feather of two hundred and fifty in my marking tool here. Want to drag in an area, I want darker. Inverse that slash in jump in your layer.

Set the blending style of that new layer to multiply. And now I have the darker edge here to keep the eye focused towards the center. So little bit to much, so reduce that. Down may be fifty two percent and off course since this is just a layer hat can always be changed later. If you decide that little too lighter or too dark i just go and change it. So finally resume in just a little bit here.

Go to flash opening folder to this so go to filter, sharpen, smart sharpen. Just see you can see what am doing I am gonna over sharpen this a little bit this upto close to two pixels. And may be sixty seven percent is okay and press ok. And gives me so much sharper appearance.

I think that’s all I am going to do with this one. But just you compare with where we started, this is where are now, this is where we started. That’s the intermediate start, not too bad. If you like me and you take a look at this and say oh it looks like you might have blown out some highlights. Then what you can do is just go back in to the curves layer, that make the adjustments in the terms.

And that’s it and select the layer mask and get a brush tool and we are going to make it little bit small. Select black and I am to select the capacity of about seventy five percent and then zoom in a couple of those areas that I think I like to recover like this. And then just paint in black, and the mask. See it’s a sudden change but that brings in that highlight detail again. And, you can do that wherever you feel like it needs it. If it turns out that seventy five percent capacity is not enough you can go over it a couple of times or you can increase the capacity. But that looks like it probably didn’t trek. All right there , here we are back at the end of the video.

This is a video about photoshop filters used to extract some of the best effects in to your favorite photos. Using these, you can create or can give more like a professional touch to your photos. Even more, you can add or remove special effects like a background images, or something like that to your photo.

The video briefs you about using these filters in a way those should be, and also provide some keyboard shortcut keys, if you are working with a windows operating system So, watch the video and enjoy some of most amazing magic of filters in photoshop.

When working in the filter gallery, you preview your image and the effect by clicking in the eye box in lower right corner. This turns on or turns off the visibility of the particular filter. You can add multiple filters working with the filter gallery and see how they interact together. Before selecting a new filter, make sure to click the new button in a lower right and add another integration of a filter before you add your new filter.

Text drives for an example can be added through the color pencil filter very effectively to produce an interesting textured pattern underneath the colored pencil or above it. Notice how the appearance of the image changes depending on the order of stacking in the lower right corner. You might also need to see one of the filters at time, for example, there is the texturized alone and here is the colored pencil alone. And this colored pencil with color texturizer and with eye goes off, there is the original image.

So always, click the new button before adding a new filter other wise you change the existing filter. To delete the filter if you decided that particular affect is not necessary select it in the lower right and click the trash icon to make it go away. Lets take a look at another very important concept in Photoshop and that’s the pixel dimensions of your image have a huge effect and the have most filters are applied. We will apply the graphic pen with stroke plane with the 15 and the light dark balance of 15, using a right diagnose stroke. Now that’s how this filter with those settings looks on an image measuring 600 pixels white. Now let us work with the copy of that same image that measures 3600 pixels wide. I you use the keyboard shortcuts command F, control F on windows to reapply the last filter with the same settings.

And as you can see using that stroke line, on a much larger image gives us a much shorter strokes through the sky area of the image. We still have same other same densities through some of the detail areas but the longest stroke lines available 15 in 600 pixel image looks a lot different than it has 3600 pixels image. Remember that you can use image, image size to resample your image to a specific pixel size. Apply your filter and then use image size to resample back to your original size. Another important aspect of working with filter gallery is your foreground and background colors. Many of the filters use either the foreground color or the Background color or both when working in Photoshop.

So, here is the list of all of the filters that use either the background color or the foregrounded color or both. Before working with any of these filters make sure you set the appropriate foreground and background colors, for example black and white your default colors. Which you can set by pressing d on the keyboard, produce one affect where say a pale yellow and deeply blue will produce totally different look with most of the sketch filters. So here is the list. IF you purchase the CD or have a premium subscription to the online training library, you will find this file 01 02, filter list available in PDF format for reference on down the road.
