Hi folks, I am back here with another excellent video I found on. This is about the clone stamp tool used in Photoshop CS3. I found this tool very useful. This tool is very useful, to make you photos, images and pictures more charming that before. With some simple, easy to follow steps you can work out this tool on any picture you want, just like how he has performed in this video.

Now I have opened up a new image and I am going to demonstrate the features of the stamp tool, and you can get to the stamp tool or clone tool, by clicking there or by pressing S. And I am gonna zoom in here, get right there close on the face. And show you some of the new features. Right of hand the tool bar appear here, it doesn’t look all that different, except for right here, where this is to be, a checkboxes, instead of a drop down. But the thing it did change, right here I have a new tool palette, that I am going to pull of from there. and just put it right here, so I can get to it easier, and it doesn’t close on me.

And it is the, this is the clone source, the tool palette. Now make sure you work on a different layer. You can either duplicate the layer, or just create a new one all together, and make sure you are working on a separate layer. That way, um… that way you can go back and change things as you need, and you are not actually damaging the original photo so its not destructing it.

So I am gonna reset my source. And lets do the chick right here. and I want to make sure it is sampling the either all layers, or my layer below. And that’s what I want, I am gonna get that layer, from anywhere I get my source from that layer there. And going to expand this brush, and clone out that baggy eyes here just a little bit. And you can see that its probably a little too much, but that’s okay this is just a demonstration. So I am gonna move over to this eye here, and I actually may be I need to go back and work on that. So instead of just resetting my clone source by hitting, clicking again, I am going to change the clone source here. What this is, is a kind of like a preset, up to five different presets you can use.

And, change through here. So I am gonna click on the second one, it is going to become my next source. And I am going to be able, clone that our really quick, and I pulled the source from there and then I need to go back to other source to fixe it up because it does not look great. I can click on that and that is back where it was before. See that we can switch between the two. And I am actually gonna back in to the history, just a little bit. So now you can see, this become very useful if you are working on an image size, you need to constantly touching and needing different resources from.

This article is great for beginners who are learning Photoshop. Photoshop is used to edit images and a host of other things. Here in this article, they have shown you how to make videos or animations using Photoshop.

Step by step instruction on how to make frames and then combine them to make a video have been given. Also, an example has been given so that you can make an animation of your own while going through this article. A very helpful and easy article for beginners to learn Photoshop from.

Now from your chapter 6 folder open up coolherbie.pse. This is our good old buddy herbier whom I was kind of missing a little bit. Good to have you back herb. This is him with some cool night lights going on. And make sure if it is not showing already, go to the window menu and select animation. Make sure the animation palette is showing and it is displaying timeline. And if it is not then go to the fly out menu and select convert to timeline.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with video, a lot of this is going to seem very new to you. So let me explain basically what is going on here. Although it is very noisy with a lot of elements going on once you understand what it is doing, it is very intuitive. Now I am just going to start here from the top and read it like a book. Going from left to right and top to bottom. Now over here we have the time. This displays the correct time of this little marker here. This is the time here. Also, called in some applications as the CTI or the current time indicator.

As we click and drag this cursor to the right we go farther out in time. So to the left is the beginning of our animation and to the right represents the end of our animation. Now as we break up this time code from left to right, before the colon here we have hours, minutes, and then frames. Typically, when you are working with digital video, the frame rate is 30 frames per seconds. As a matter of fact we can tell that’s what it is in this instance because it says right here 30 fps. FPS stands for frames per second. Frames are essentially those images that I talked about in the last segment that comprise every piece of video.

So basically what this is saying is that this video plays at a rate of 30 frames per second. That’s very close to a frame rate of a standard television set. Now we are seeing this double sided arrow here. It’s because we can click and drag and change this timeline to whatever we want. So if we want to move it out in time a little bit go further along in our animation, move it to the right and drag it to the left to go earlier into the animation. If that’s the way we want to change it. We also have these red numbers here, which correspond, to our different points in time.

So this maybe misleading because it looks like 5 and then nothing else and then we have an f for frames. What this is really telling us is that we are 5 seconds out and that there are zero frames. And again if you forget where you are always go back to your little current time indicator over here on the left hand side. You always go back to the current time area on the left hand side and it will tell you exactly where your cursor is. If you want to zoom in to your timeline click this button here, the timeline bigger and you could see frame by frame if you wanna do that or you could zoom out to see more of your animation by dragging to the left.

Over here, we have play controls; we will talk about those as we get into animation. Here in the timeline are also listed all of our layers. Each layer comes in as a solid block like this. The cool thing is that if I were to go over here just like normal Photoshop and add a new layer, look at that, it has added a new layer. Now you might be tempted to say, “Well Chad, video doesn’t benefit me anything because I don’t have nay video footage to use, I am not a video guy”! Great news my friend, you don’t have to be. All you have to do is make a new layer of something, anything. And you could turn it into a video layer. So the good news is that you get to play Dr. Frankenstein and bring dead stuff to life.

It’s like these different layers, notice that as we select these different layers, here in the timeline, in our layers panel, they are being updated as well. Very interesting. Also, we have a little arrow here that is pointing to the right. Whenever, you see a little arrow like this pointing to the right, it typically means that it is a twirl which is common speak for basically saying you can click on it and open up additional properties. I am actually going to delete this layer because; we have no need for it. It was just to show you that we could add additional layers here.

So let’s open up Herbie’s properties and you will find that for every layer we could animate three properties- position, opacity and style. You will be glad to know that we will be covering each of these in depth as we go throughout these series. But before we get to any of that, we need to cover the concept of advanced animation. What’s to do with the stopwatch? That’s what we need to talk about right now. Now when the stopwatch is not depressed as you see it now in its default state, it basically means that those properties do not animate.

In other words, they do not change over time. If I were to click this position stopwatch for example, you will see a whole bunch of coming up that we will explain. And it tells Photoshop by depressing that stopwatch, that we want this property to change over time. It is nota stagnant property. This is crucial because if I go in, create tons of great animation, and then try to undo that or something by clicking the stopwatch then we are basically telling Photoshop, you know what; scratch that. I don’t want it to animate over time. I want it to be in the same place always.

And all of the animation data that we have created will be erased. Be very careful of that. I will probably remind you of that a few more times as we go along here. Now in the last segment we looked at frame animation. We talked about creating frames and then having Photoshop those frames to create the in between frames. When we are on the timeline side of the animation palette that is done for us automatically. And its probably best here to describe the process of animation and some of these key terms that you will be seeing and hearing a lot.

Now in traditional animation which terminology essentially derives digital animation, there would be the big bucks animation that we create with what’s called the key frames. Perhaps if there were for example, I don’t want to get in trouble here, if a snowy whitish lady were looking at an apple to eat per chance, the big bucks animator might have her pick up the apple and then a little later down the road, having her hoist the apple in the air to kind of examine it a little bit.

What they would then do is take the animation or those frames that the key frame animator made up and take them to the kind of, the lower-paid interns that have you, that don’t get paid as much and they would make all the frames in between those two shot. That job still to this day is called tweening. Making up the frames in between the big important key frames. Now the good news about the timeline side of the animation palette is that you and I are the big bucks animators.

We just set the key frames and Photoshop unlike the frame side will automatically create the in between frames for us. So, I have clicked the stopwatch here at 2seconds and 9 frames. That tells Photoshop that at 2 seconds and 9 frames into our animation this character better be right there. It locks that position property and ties it to that particular point in time. If we go out farther in time and then move our character, notice that it automatically created one of those diamonds or key frames for us automatically. Now do we have to go in and set up all the tweening?

Nope, Photoshop automatically created that for us. Very smoothly, I might add. Now we are going to talk a little bit more in depth about each one of these including position. But I just want you to be aware right after that how to set key frames and how this tweening process works. Now often times in digital applications like, after effects and here in Photoshop, the tweening word has been replaced by a more fancy word, interpolation.

And so instead of calling it tweening, Photoshop’s guess work of getting from this frame to this frame is called interpolation- what it makes up in between our key frames. So that’s pretty much it for right now, the best is yet to come. Let’s move on.

Using its features, handy tools, and amazing ability we can have fun on our computer by creating any type of image, clip, animation etc etc. Today I am gonna show you how Photoshop can help you to create an awesome logo for your website. The video followed by the description will teach you to create a logo. With some easy steps and couple of tools, we will be creating a logo along with a slogan for a website. So enjoy the video and have fun with Photoshop.

In this tutorial I am gonna share with you how to create easy website logo? So, basically you will need Adobe Photoshop and 10 minutes of your life. So let’s begin, open Photoshop and open new file. Ok, so let’s choose, like that, that’s it. So, basically make a new layer, add some text, I am going to use example for my website, so, you will do it, depending on your own. So lets make it like that, text color, black; okay, succeedo. Make it bigger, even more bigger, ok so now you got one piece of your logo. Move it to center. So, now make a new layer, make a new layer and select text tool. Oops, I am sick… new text and write your slogan, which should be smaller than that main text.

Lets make it 24, and write. I am gonna write free success encyclopedia. You will write, a slogan depending on your website or whatever purpose you gonna use your logo. So, I will place it over here, and another to make a new layer, again text tool, and make a line. Make a line, I think that gonna be enough, and press edit and free transform and drag it write here. Okay, to make it look a bit better, you choose the slogan text and press, duplicate layer. Okay once you have done that, go to edit, transform, and flip vertical.

Okay, then go again, once again, go to edit and free transform and drag your text under the slogan ok that’s good. Once you do that choose the opacity may be to 21 to 24, could make this one, it shows off. Yup, that’s good. And other breakthrough, you can, I think I should increase the size of main, main text, that’s it. Umm… another breakthrough we can add, choose custom shape tool, and add a new, choose shape, which suits to your website.

As an example I am gonna use this arrow, no not may be, change the color, may be something to green. Okay, once you have done that, new layer, that’s it. And you logo is almost finished. Basically, you can add a website you are promoting. I am gonna use for my blog so, you gonna once again, new, new text layer and www.succeedo.blogspot.com and place it wherever you want, may be somewhere like here.

And basically that’s it. Quick logo using adobe Photoshop. It let you to take less than ten minutes, quite easy, just follow my tips and visit my website. Thank you very much and enjoy.

I will put it on 50% hardness. We will tell Photoshop to fix the under eye area with this smooth part of the cheek.

Hold down option and you will see it turn into a targeting symbol. Click on an area just below one end of the dark circle. Now release the option key and starting at that end of the dark circle click and drag your brush across it. That’s all it took to fix this dark circle and now we can do the same to the other eye. There you go. You can make a photo look dramatically better by using the simple trick to fix under eye circles.

Thanks for watching. Look for more Photoshop tricks coming soon at 50photoshoptricks.com.

I am going to show you an easy way to retouch a photo by removing under eye circles. And you can do it under two minutes.

First I will open up photoshop. For this tutorial I am going to use this portrait of a bride. Now it’s good practice to start working on a copy of your main layer so that you can see the progress you have made and so you can always get back to where you have started if something goes wrong. We will unlock the background layer by holding down option and double clicking. Next we can duplicate this layer by dragging it on to the new layer button. The tool I am going to use is the healing brush. It’s under the spot healing brush tool in your toolbar. A quick way to zoom in is by pressing Command +.

I am moving the image around by holding spacebar and dragging the image. Now that we have got a good view of the eyes we will make our fix. The way the healing brush works is by taking one part of your image and using it to change the texture of another part.

We are going to look at how you can remove dimples, wrinkles and other facial features that we have on this photo of this beautiful young girl.

Some people might not really like the dimples. So, first of all I am just going to duplicate the background layer. We are going to work on this layer here without affecting the original. Now the tool, oh just before we start working, just we can see it better, I am just going to zoom in. Ok, the tool I am going to be using is the patch tool, which you might find underneath the healing brush tool there. I am just going to select the area around the dimple, you have to do this more accurately. And I am going to sample the adjacent skin just by holding the left mouse down and then releasing it. I have got to select and deselect so you can see that.

And just to even out the skin tones I am going to apply a blur. So I am selecting the lacy tool. And then, I am going to filter, blur and again blur. And that looks about right to me. You can alter the radius of the blur if you want to, but that looks about right. And so I am just going to click on OK. And deselect and there we have the finished line. That’s the original. And now I will just take it down to the actual pixels and so again the finished line and the original. Okay. Thank you.

Now it’s very important when you’re naming the file for the Internet, that you do not include any punctuation in the file name that means pronounce signs or apostrophizes or space. The next window that opens up is giving me an option for the quality image options for the quality JPEG that i want to save. Now, the default would probably be set to 8 but i, i want it the highest quality possible. So i am gonna set it to 12 and then i am gonna hit ok and here we have the image that is ready to upload to the autumnhillartworks.com website.

The first step is to open the image that we want to resize and to do this we go to file open. We find the image on our computer and here it is. Now to resize it, i go to image resize image size. Here we have the resolution and the width and height and pixels. Make sure that re sampled image is checked, down here. i want to set the resolution to 72 and i want to set the width to 360. The reason why i set the resolution to 72 pixels per inch is because that is the computer screens display images.

Once i have it set at 72 pixels per inch, 360 pixels wide and notice this is set to pixels not to percent, i hit ok and i resize the image. the next step is to save the changes. You need to save the images as a JPEG.
