In this tutorial I will be discussing how to show only one color in a photograph and leave the rest black and white. As you can see the blue fire hightened and red fire truck. One way to do this is to choose the magic wand tool.
Guys you are about to see as I start clicking holding down the shift and adding to my selection. It is very time consuming and not too accurate. One much easier way to do this is to select the color range dialog box located in the select menu at the top. One of the first thing to do is to select the black mat or the white mat. Now as you can see with the varieties of colors you can choose from.. so you can select all the sign ons or all the blues located in your image but at the top of here as you can see there is a lot black left over. My suggestion is use the sample color to choose exactly what you want.
The fussiness option allows you to choose how much or how little color that you want..and remember everything you want other than your color should be as black as possible.
