Cool Eyes And Effects In Photoshop
This is a Quick N’ Easy Photoshop Tutorials. In this tutorial, you can learn how to place one object over another and it a good effect. For this tutorial, we have two pictures. One picture is of a beautiful blue eye, which a very talented artist posts on the net. The second picture is of a heart, of course red in color. You need to put this red heart on top of the blue eye. The finished picture will look a bit cool than the original one.
In this tutorial, you can learn, systematically, how to position heart over the eye by using Photoshop. There is amazingly simple description of various tools which are used. Great way to create a stand out picture!
Hey guys, welcome to another edition of Quick & Easy Photoshop with me, Dion Rodriguez. A… to th.. this weekend I was coming looking around on the internet and there is this one very talented artist I follow on my DV internet account, gamesandgages.dvnr.com and a.. what she does is she added eyes, sh… lots of eyes and she does some pretty cool things to them. Ch.. I was trying to figure out what could I do with the same kind of concept ch.. a.. that wouldn’t be too difficult and will be quick enough to kind of show you guys. So, we kind of going to put together some of the techniques that we have learnt and we’re just going to added this eye. I have got another picture here of this heart and a… I’m going to take this and I’m going to drag it into my eye picture. Ch.. and then I’m going to go ahead and just unlock my background layer, my eye layer, go back here and I’m going to use my a… my… Magic Wand Tool, to delete all the white off of the heart.
And as you can see it kin..d of didn’t work so well, so we’re going to undo that. Just kind of raise my tolerance up a bit, to say, 80. I think 80 should be enough. Oh! 80 is probably too much, ha! ha! All right, we’re just going to play with this really quick…. There. See, almost perfect. Now we dis—kind of come in here and just kind of cut this out. I’m going to see it use my a… my… a.. Paul Eye — Lasso Tool, a..n..d cut that out. Done. Still pretty smooth. A… obviously I’m trying to go pretty quick but I mean its still going to look a.. pretty nice overall. Oops! There we go. See. So, there is my heart. Just one more thing I want to do is to use my Magic Wand select it. Now you want to do a.. either a Control Shift I or Command Shift I, depending on your platform. Select the Inverse.
A.. Select, Modify, Feather. Just going to do like a 2 pixel feather. Do that command again. so, Command or Control Shift I. just delete it. Hit Delete a few times, that way you’re going to get that smoothing instead you know how it was rough before, so now it’s nice and smooth though. I don’t think I’ve shown you guy.. guy… you guys before but that’s a cool little trick.
What I’m going to do now is I’m just going to a… rotate this, I’m going to put it right here. I’m going to fit the eye over top of a… or the heart over top of the eye, the pupil, sorry, and I think we might be able to do something pretty cool with this. So, we’re going to zoom in little bit here and I’m going to just lower the opacity here, ch… now I’m going to select his layer and I just want to trace a… the area because of round, where the heart will be. Come like this.
And now a… as you can see we’re just going to do that Command Shift I again. Move up to your… your heart layer and Delete. So that’s going to remove everything sticking outside of the eye. So that’s pretty cool and a.. now the next thing we’re going to do a… we’re just going to a… zoom in again here. As you can see its kind of rough. Just going to take my selection tool and kind of clean this up. Just a little bit… and again same thing over here, clean it up a little bit… sh… that was a little too rough. An…there we go, so I mean its not perfect but again this is Quick N’ Easy Photoshop, we are qu.. being quick and a.. we’re trying to teach this as easy as possible. So I’m just going to raise my opacity back up to a 100 and now I’m going to change my Blending Layer and I think a.. we’re going to go with something, kind know why may be that —— that doesn’t work very well. Like n… ch.. that’s not too bad, again lower my field just a little bit so I —- of that the.. the eye to show through just a little bit more.
Kind of bring up the realism. And a… I mean with a pretty cool blend, right now, but from here you could go ahead. A.. I’m just going to add new layer. Ingredient map. Some like that, a… m… an over layer. I mean look how cool that looks with just one little addition. A… and another thing I’m going to do.. to duplicate this, I want to add little Motion Blur here. We worked with Blurs before in all the episodes so you should know what I’m doing here. I’m just going to kind of add a Blur.. that’s a.. add some… kind of some depth. Make it look a stand out little bit and a.. last thing I want to do is use my empty layer here that I made and I’ll just do some lighting effects. So grab a transparent 300 brush with maybe get sh… 30% opacity. I got a light blue hue on here.
On this use that. And we do like a lighten, New Dodge. Over Layer like I said, Over Layer usually works the best. A.. actually I want to get kind of get a brighter color like a Blue here. Just kind a…there! and that’s pretty much it guys, like from here now you’re… you’re free to play around with it and however you want, you can change the color of the heart using a.. your hue and your saturation controls a… whatever you want to do. It’s up to you. A.. Photoshop as always presents you the most open ended way to do, a.. whatever you want with it. So, thanks for watching todays episode of Quick & Easy Photoshop.
