Changing a hair color is a boring task in our day to day life. However, in Photoshop, it is very easy and funny too. You can change anyone’s hair color in minutes. Lets how we can do that.

What we’re going to learn today is how to give um.. Hair color highlights or change the hair color. Just like you can see here. So let’s get started. The first thing you want to do is make sure that your colors are reset, you can do that by pressing D um.. then you want to enter quick mask mode by clicking this button here. And then select the brush. And now you want to use a soft brush. And have the blend in mode normal, opacity 100 flow 100. And then we just want to begin drawing lines and following the hair line. Now you can spend a lot of time doing this. And you can use like different brush sizes. And just select larger sections of the hair. And then just keep changing brush sizes. So I’m just going to go through and do a number of different sizes and selections and then I’ll come back. Ok as you can see I’ve made a number of selections. Now the first, the next thing you want to do is enter normal mode. And then go to select, and then inverse. And then go to edit copy, edit paste.

So it puts it on a new layout. And with that layout selected you want to go to image to adjustments hue and saturation and then just tick colorize and then you can go through and pick what color you want to change the hair to. Lower or increase the saturation depending on what looks more natural. Then hit ok. And that’s basically it. So I hope this has been a help to you. Thanks for watching.
