Autumnhillartworks.com is an Online fine craft gallery showcasing New England’s fine artisan and this tutorial is begin put together to show New England’s artisans how to resize their images in photo shop elements and prepare them to submit them to the autumn hillsartworks.com website.
The first step is to open the image that we want to resize and to do this we go to file open. We find the image on our computer and here it is. Now to resize it, i go to image resize image size. Here we have the resolution and the width and height and pixels. Make sure that re sampled image is checked, down here. i want to set the resolution to 72 and i want to set the width to 360. The reason why i set the resolution to 72 pixels per inch is because that is the computer screens display images.
Once i have it set at 72 pixels per inch, 360 pixels wide and notice this is set to pixels not to percent, i hit ok and i resize the image. the next step is to save the changes. You need to save the images as a JPEG.
