some dodging and burning on it and a lot of it is done in the dark room but I will show you how to do it inside a photo-shop plus you have to do it non-destructively so you will have to change the pixels a little in the photo.
The first thing I will do is to go to the bottom layer of the palette and create a new layer. And I am going to go to the edit menu go down to fill and under the use setting here what I want to do is to choose 50% gray, going to go ahead and fill it with 50% gray, hit o.k. and now we will see a big gray screen. So now we are going to go up to the layer, blend mode up here at the top left of the palette and change the blend mode to soft light, and when I do that you will see that as I show and hide this layer here nothing really changes in the image because the soft light blend we did kind of just made the gray to disappear.
Now what we can do is to just take our brush tool and first what we will start is we will do some burning.
