Ok look how cross the picture is. It is just so badly worn or torn or things smeared or written on that there is no light to display them nicely.
Um in this case there is a picture that my grand father that we came across and its one of the rare pictures of my grand father so what I want to do is I want to start by using my select tool my rectangle mark key and I’m going to drag an area around the couple. This will give me less area I have to correct and I’m going to go to image, crop ok and then what I think I will do here because there is all kinds of color things its kinda a hand colored picture .but anyway I’m going to go to image mode gray scale. Ok and that will help me to define my areas a little better.
I’m going to go image adjust auto contrast which makes it a little more defined and I’m going to go image and adjust levels and I am going to drag my black to the very beginning of the curve and I am going to drag my white to the beginning to the other curve.
