Now the way vanishing point works, it’s basically a two step process. You need to draw a grid that matches the perspective of your photograph, and then, you either paint or edit inside of that grid.
So we’ll start by drawing a grid. I’ve got my create plane tool here, and that’s selected by default, and then I’m just going to click and at portions that make sense here. So I’m going to click along these boards. That the perspective I want to match, so I’m going to click right here to set one point, and I’m going to click over here to set another point, and I’m going to click down here someplace, roughly like so to set that point, and then finally, I’m going to set the final point.
So it’s just a four point drawn here, in order to draw a rectangle in perspective, and then I’m going to scale that rectangle, by dragging the side handle, and I’m dragging the side handles, notice that, not the corner handles, because dragging the corner handles actually changes the angle of the perspective grid. So notice this keeps everything nice and lined with these boards and now what I want to do is I want to clone away, not the dog.
